I. Introduction:
The straight-through basket filter is a type of filter, mainly composed of a connecting pipe, cylinder, filter basket, flange, flange cover, fasteners, etc. When installed in a pipeline, it can remove large solid impurities from the fluid, ensuring the normal operation of machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments, stabilizing the process, and ensuring safe production. When the liquid enters the filter basket through the cylinder, solid impurity particles are trapped inside the filter basket, while the clean fluid passes through the filter basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is required, unscrew the plug at the bottom of the main pipe, drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, clean it and reinstall it. Therefore, it is extremely convenient to use and maintain.

III. Product Principle:
The straight-through filter is directly connected to the pipeline for use. During the production process, the fluid flows through the straight-through filter along the pipeline. The liquid first passes through the cylinder and then enters the filter basket. The fluid flows out through the gaps in the filter basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. Solid impurity particles in the fluid are blocked by the filter basket, completing the filtration by separating from the fluid. After the filter has been used for a period of time, solid impurities accumulate in the filter basket. At this time, simply unscrew the plug at the bottom of the main pipe, drain the liquid inside the straight-through filter, remove the flange, clean the filter basket and reinstall it to complete the impurity removal.

V. Installation and Maintenance:
1. The straight-through basket filter is generally installed horizontally, and the direction of the inlet and outlet should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.
2. After the filter has been working for a period of time, a certain amount of impurities will precipitate in the filter element. At this time, the pressure drop increases and the flow rate decreases, so it is necessary to remove the impurities in the filter element in time.
3. When cleaning impurities, special attention should be paid to ensuring that the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element does not deform or get damaged. Otherwise, after reinstalling the filter, the purity of the filtered medium will not meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps and instruments will be damaged.
4. If the stainless steel wire mesh is found to be deformed or damaged, it must be replaced immediately.
